Medical Imprint, the medical education division of Haymarket Medical, seeks a talented and motivated sub-editor to work across a diverse range of publications. The job will primarily involve the sub-editing and typesetting of copy written by healthcare professionals, covering a wide range of medical topics. You will also approach authors to write articles and this is an excellent opportunity to develop commissioning skills.

Working as part of a small team, the job will also allow involvement in all other areas of the print production process. The job has been created to cope with the increasing workload of a growing department and as such there is scope for the role to develop further over time.

The successful applicant will have sufficient editing experience and will ideally be familiar with InDesign. Acrobat, Photoshop and Illustrator experience and knowledge of client-driven or contract publishing would be advantageous.
