A new role has been created in the Teddington-based Finance Department to manage staff involved in data preparation and processing for the department’s AR and AP sections. The Finance DP department will be responsible for providing the following services:
- Allocation of trade receipts in the form of cheques and bank transfers and subsequent investigation into unmatched amounts
- Supplier invoice registration and Purchase Order matching
- Audit of staff expenses once the Agresso 5.6 web-based system is implemented (and manual input prior to implementation)
- Posting of journals from all areas of the department
Main duties:
- Initial set up of the department, including the allocation of staff duties and relevant UAT work on Agresso 5.6
- Management of the department’s staffing, to include:
- Conducting regular appraisals
- Ensuring any training needs are identified
- On going motivation of team to ensure SLA’s are met
- Responsibility for the UK group’s staff expenses system, including running of regular and ad hoc reports
- Management of departmental processes and responsibility for adherence to group policies
- Implementation and ongoing reviews of departmental SLA’s
- Keeping the Group Financial Controller updated through regular catch ups.
- Escalating queries outside the department when required

Knowledge required:
Good working knowledge of Agresso financial software
Sound knowledge of Excel
Experience required:
Management of a department of more than 2 staff
