A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Sales Exec to join The Haymarket Outdoor Leisure Group (Practical Caravan, Practical Motorhome, BH&HPA Holiday Parks Guide, The David Bellamy Guide, The Top 100 guides and www.caravansitefinder.co.uk)

The Leisure group titles have firmly positioned themselves as the must read titles for the leisure sector. They have a reputation for delivering high quality and trusted editorial which is why they are still the most requested publications in the market

Person Specification

You will be expected to maximise revenue/profit from your own client base and thus contribute to the performance of the magazines as a whole.  You will work as part of a team as well as develop and mentor other team members. You will also work closely with the Parks manager on developing the products as well as having team responsibilities.   

The right applicant will be able to provide evidence of:

Skills:

Experience of working in a comparable role which includes account management and face to face sales

Ability to work across a portfolio selling a wide range of products including online and print.

Ability to manage and grow existing accounts as well developing new business opportunities

Outstanding personal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a wide range of clients at all levels

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Good interpersonal skills

Consultative sales approach both over the phone and face to face

Attitude:

Strong organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative

The ability to work as part of a team as well as be able to self-motivate when under pressure

Willingness to learn and develop new ideas

Positive and enthusiastic with ‘can-do’ attitude

Disciplined, hard working and prepared to go the extra mile
