With Cyber Security, Mobile, Data Protection and Hacktivism increasingly at the forefront of the national news agenda and a newly formed Information Security division within Haymarket created to facilitate our expansion in this sector, an exciting opportunity has arisen in SC’s UK team as Account Manager.

SC magazine has reported on the international Information Security business since 1992 and is the leading provider of news and analysis for this fast-growing global industry. With revenues increasingly delivered from an International client base through online and lead generation programmes this is a role for a dynamic and digitally focussed sales professional.

Technical knowledge of the market is not required- but what is required is the desire to get into one of our most exciting growth industries and one of Haymarket’s best kept secrets.  

Person Specification

• You will be a proven sales person, with a track record of managing effective account growth;
• You lead by example, demonstrating a high level of output and work ethic, inspiring junior colleagues;
• You will demonstrate the ability to sell creative print / online advertising solutions (e.g. lead generation, content site MPUs, leaderboards, sponsorship, or other commercial solutions)
• You will demonstrate an ability to get under the skin of a market, enhancing the sophistication of your sell;
• You will have excellent standards of written and verbal communication – in proposals, on the phone, and in meetings – which reflect creditably on the brand;
• You will have excellent time management skills;
• You will have a positive, can-do attitude – vital to our team dynamic and to successfully reaching our sales plan objectives
