pressXchange.com is the global leading search engine for used printing equipment, it has customers from 22 countries and visitors from 195. It is a pure play online product and has leading B2B magazines and websites in the UK (PrintWeek), Germany (Druck & Medien), Australia (ProPrint), Russia (PrintWeek), India (PrintWeek) and the Middle East and Africa (PrintWeek) to support it.

 

Reporting to the Assistant Advertising Manager the Key Responsibilities are:

 

  • Convert current non-advertising customers to active advertisers
  • Account manage your current advertiser base and maximise revenues
  • Generate stronger relationships with manufacturers, distributors/suppliers
  • Manage and grow advertising from the existing auction marketplace for used printing machinery
  • Closely monitor all local trade press/web to identify opportunities and measure market share against competitors
  • Attend relevant trade shows around the world
  • Work closely with marketing to establish effective sales based campaigns
  • Be 100% familiar with the marketplace to identify any opportunities and threats
  • You will need to work well under pressure, pressXchange.com is a fast paced and exciting environment

 

Person Specification

Sales Representative Qualification and Experience:

 

  • Some sales experience is a real plus but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Online experience is advantageous but not critical as training will be provided
  • A confident telephone and face to face manner
  • Motivated by targets and beating them
  • Time management skills will be critical as the product is fast paced
  • Organised with strong communication and written skills
  • Some international travel may be required
