A deputy editor is required for maternity cover at Haymarket’s Hammersmith offices, to work on a market-leading business title.
Person Specification
The successful applicant should be an experienced magazine journalist, section editor or deputy editor, with a proven track record of creativity, top-notch copy-editing and writing experience (including working in InDesign), the ability to work under pressure and excellent client-handling and interviewing skills. B2B experience would be a bonus, but just as important are boundless intellectual curiosity and the ability to generate genuinely engaging ideas that work in magazines and across online channels.
Duties will include idea generation, commissioning, deputising for the Editor, writing and editing on page, staff development and contributing to the brand’s development both online and offline.
