FourFourTwo, the world’s biggest football magazine, is looking for a staff writer to join its busy team.
 
We need someone with excellent journalistic skills, unerring enthusiasm and, of course, an in-depth knowledge of football.You should be an all-rounder in football writing, as happy scribbling about Mario Balotelli’s latest goal celebration as you would about his dietary and training regime. We don’t actually “scribble” that much, by the way… we have computers.
 
As staff writer, you will be called upon to contribute across both print and online, so a good knowledge of writing for web and print would be a distinct advantage when applying.
 
Please note that this is not a first job in journalism. You will be under pressure to deliver sparkling copy to a high standard from day one, so please do not apply unless you have at least one year’s writing experience.
 
Reporting to the features editor, you will be expected to:

• Come up with ideas for all sections of the magazine

• Deliver copy for all sections of the magazine

• Supply copy for fourfourtwo.com

• Manage you own time effectively to make sure all deadlines are met

• Build a strong contacts books with agents, brands and governing bodies
