Role Summary

A Business Development Manager is responsible for prospecting new clients and retaining management of those accounts in order to create business partnerships and see continual growth. You must plan persuasive sales approaches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company and grow their current product portfolios.

Business Development Managers liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs from the onboarding stage onwards and  through the entirety of the client ownership cycle. You will be adept at query management and be able to take ownership of processes which pertain to customer satisfaction and be able to provide a valuable and comfortable buying experience through the conscientious & diligent handling of all client needs and requirements.

You will be used to working in a heavily targeted sales environment wherein bringing success through maximising activity in-line with company & individual KPI’s is key and time management and priority & territory planning are vital to success.

  • Strong experience of working within a highly targeted and KPi driven environment

  • Experience of working within the Franchise motor dealer network either from directly with in a dealership sales / marketing function or as an external supplier to the networks

  • The ability to plan and execute a creative sales approach

  • Excellent relationship building skills across all levels of buying influence including board level

  • Able to work within a team and independently

  • Structured sales approach experience & training including large account management

  • Someone who works with integrity & is ambitious to succeed

  • A strategic thinker with the ability to establish new revenue opportunities within new business prospects and existing accounts with the ability to build on these ideas in order to produce tangible growth.

  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills

  • Experience of a CRM driven environment - Salesforce desirable

  • An exceptional communicator / negotiator

  • Someone who faces challenges with a positivity and tenaciousness
